On Friday Arroyo knocked off Monrovia at the Bonita Air Assault tournament.
Which is interesting in the conext that the Knights had to scrap their way to a narrow second round loss to 2012 state champion Sierra Canyon last fall. While the Wildcats are back to back to back Mid-Valley Division champions.

New quarterback DeShawn Potts only completed three of five passes as a junior but two of them went for touchdowns. He’s going to be the guy, along with another Bryant, his name is Miles and is already working out with the varsity.
Monrovia returns 24 players from its 51 man roster in 2012. Of the 78 touchdowns scored in its drive to a third consecutive title, only 24 of them return.
