Making the playoffs was the big deal here. The game itself will feel like root canal for the Apaches.

 Northwest Division

El Segundo (6-4, Pioneer #2) at La Puente (8-2, Montview #2)

Great draw for the Warriors to advance to the next round. “The Second” is not very good.

Prediction: La Puente 28 El Segundo 22

 Sierra Vista (7-3, Montview #3) at Nordhoff (9-1, Tri-Valley #2)

This could be ugly, or this could be the upset of the year. The Rangers were average against Bishop Diego, and look very mortal going forward. The Dons can do this but they need to be perfect

 Mid-Valley Division

Temple City (5-5, Rio Hondo #2) at Paraclete (9-1, Alpha #1)

The last time these teams met in the playoffs the Spirits turned the ball over four times inside their own 20. Of course the Rams were only able to cash in for two field goals and Paraclete went on to the 2008 CIF crown. If TC gets across midfield four times Friday night it will be a miracle.

 Montebello (6-4, Almont #3) at El Monte (7-3, Mission Valley #2)

The teams met in the 1999 post-season and it was all Oilers. In 2012 it will be all Lions.

 Arroyo (6-4, Mission Valley #3) at Bell Gardens (8-2, Almont #1)

Good draw for the Knights. They have a chance, but BG may have too much.
