Friday Night

Arcadia (0-3) at Burroughs (0-3)

Well someone has got a win. Both have struggled on both sides of the ball, but the Apaches have a few more weapons.

This isn’t a question about the Panthers offense, but about how good its much talked about defense is. No matter the quarterback (Quintanilla, Valenzuela, Torosian) the Mats can put points on the board.

Alhambra (2-2) at South Pasadena (2-1)

Who are these teams? The Moors are slowly improving, but the Tigers can be the ’72 Dolphins one week and the 2012 Rams the next. Go with Alham in upset.

The Eagles get a team with a winning record, but should handle business and be undefeated entering league play for the first time since 2004.

Last spring this look like a deluxe match up…Right now its looking like an episode of survivor. Can the Minutemen stay alive? Can the Southman survive until everyone is eligible and healthy?
