Frank Amezcua, El Monte City Council

My name is Frank Amezcua.  I am a native, and product of the great city of El Monte. The development of my entire life has taken place in El Monte.  Throughout every phase of growing up our community has been involved.  My educational resume includes a high school diploma from Arroyo High School, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a Pre-legal option, a Single-Subject Teaching Credential, and a Master’s in Education and Counseling.  Although I am proud of my educational achievements, my personal philosophy of life indicates that the learning process is perpetual.  Currently my occupation is an AP Government and Politics Teacher at Academic Performance and Excellence Academy where I facilitate learning and development with the at-risk youth of Hollywood.  I am forever grateful to have the opportunity to enlightened young adults with the theoretical and philosophical framework of American Government and Politics.

I have chosen to pursue a seat on the city council because of my genuine concern for the well being of El Monte.  I strongly feel that my direct involvement in the city council would propel the city of El Monte to be the best it can be.
