Los Angeles International Fern Society


June 8 2013, Saturday – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. & June 9, Sunday 9 am to 3pm Sunday

For the last 45 years LAIFS, the Los Angeles International Fern Society, has put on a show that is open to the public. The juried show will have around 250 rare and exotic plants displayed in Ayers Hall at the Arboretum in Arcadia, of which are about 60 varieties of ferns. LAIFS and non-LAIFS members may enter their ferns or plants for judging and display.  This is the only fern show in the Los Angeles/Orange County area, and is one of the best attended shows at the Arboretum.

Around 30+ vendors will have quality plants and related wares for sale. Besides ferns they will have orchids, succulents, Plumeria and other exotic and hard to find plants, garden supplies, art, pottery and books.

There will be opportunity drawings for hundreds of plants and plant related items hourly.
