National Night Out Against Crime and Emergency Preparedness

Join the City of South El Monte and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Temple Station in celebrating “National Night Out Against Crime” and Emergency Preparedness, on Tuesday August 6th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the parking lot of City Hall, 1415 Santa Anita Avenue. This event is FREE and open to the community.

Attendees will enjoy free hot dogs (while supplies last), giveaways, recreation night swimming, live entertainment, arts-n-crafts for kids, interactive displays as well as other enjoyable activities.

National Night Out is designed to: (1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2) Generate support for and participation in local anticrime efforts; (3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships; and (4) Send a message to criminals letting them  know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
